pHormatting pHrustration

Recently, I spent about half a day trying to format my table of contents just right with the Roman numerals at the beginning of the document and the Arabic numerals starting wherever APA demands after that.  The next step was to figuring out how to remove the page number from the first page.  The table of contents project dissolved into all around disaster status, and I eventually gave up on the whole process.  A wasted day.  Why is this so difficult?  I don’t know, but what I do know is that my super fantastic adviser sent me a template.  In case I’m not the only one struggling here, I gift it to you.  A completely pre-formatted APA table of contents!

It’s like Christmas in July.  Now to get back to the real work around here…
